Stones Hotel And Bar - Minehead

Enjoyed this small hotel and its family ambience from the moment I entered. The location was unbeatable, only 5 minutes walk to Blenheim Gardens. And it's walk from a railway station.

Cereal, toast and yoghourt served for breakfast were FAB.

I loved great food.

Comfy family room and friendly staff. Wi-Fi was slow at times.

I loved being just a few steps from Blenheim Gardens, where I could enjoy peaceful strolls among beautiful greenery, and the Minehead Seafront was an enjoyable walk along the coast with lovely views of the water. These aspects.

The easy access to minehead beach, just a short 1 km walk away, made my morning strolls amazing, and i loved being only a few steps away from the good blenheim gardens for some relaxation after exploring the area. As a solo traveler, the single room was cozy enough, although a bit cramped for my suitcase, it didn't detract from my lovely experience .

The stones really impressed me. The staff was friendly, and the spacious double room was well-appointed. It was just a few minutes' walk to the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the great cider selection...

The staff greeted me with genuine warmth upon arrival. My double room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds that helped me get a good night's rest. The bar area had a fantastic selection of craft ciders on tap, a nice surprise. Breakfast was definitely a highlight, with a generous full English that set me up for the day. It was freshly made and served quickly despite the busy morning. Getting to my room involved two steep flights of stairs, which could be a challenge, especially with bags. I noticed some areas in the bar were a bit messy and could benefit from better cleaning. Despite that, I loved the vibe and would consider returning again soon.

Ah, the Stone's Bar & Restaurant is a gem! The pizza oven is a game-changer, and the craft ciders had me buzzing! Plus, the staff were on point. Seriously, it's just a short stroll to grab some tasty bites at third-wave...  

For a quieter atmosphere, request a room away from the bar area, especially on busy weekends.

Comfortable single room, excellent breakfast, with convenient access to the promenade and West Somerset Railway station just five minutes away.

It was all superb

The spacious family room provided a comfortable stay, complemented by a generous breakfast that featured both variety and quality. Friendly staff were always available to assist. Concerns arose regarding hygiene practices in the restaurant, particularly around pizza preparation and equipment cleanliness, which could potentially lead to serious health issues if not addressed. The experience felt marred by these food hygiene practices despite the positive aspects.

Charming Stay with a Few Hiccups

The staff were cordial and accommodating. The room could benefit from better upkeep. For dinner, try the local specials. They are good! Ensure to request timely room heating.

Excellent stay with great dining options

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The restaurant's wood-fired pizzas were superb and added a unique touch to our dining experience. I felt that the shower pressure could be improved.
